When someone is harassed at work, the first person they tell is usually their manager. What that manager does in the next hour can decide whether you face a tribunal claim. We train managers to spot it, handle it and prevent it.
Since 30 October 2026, the Employment Rights Act 2025 requires employers to take all reasonable steps to prevent sexual harassment. You can also be liable when clients, customers, contractors or the public harass your staff, on any protected characteristic.
Managers sit at the centre of all of it. They see the behaviour first. They hear the complaint first. And when it goes wrong, their response is the first thing a tribunal looks at.
The Equality and Human Rights Commission's guidance is direct: train all workers, and give managers extra training.
A manager laughs off a remark as banter, and the person stops reporting.
A complaint about an important client gets quietly dropped.
Nothing is written down, so there is no record when a claim arrives.
The person who spoke up is moved, sidelined or treated differently.
Each one of these turns a single incident into a claim you can't defend.
1. Spot it early. What harassment looks like, including the subtle forms, and where the line sits.
2. Respond in the first hour. How to listen, what to say, what not to say, and how to protect the person.
3. Record it properly. What to write down, when, and where it goes.
4. Handle third parties. What to do when the harasser is a client, contractor or member of the public, not a colleague.
5. Prevent victimisation. How to make sure the person who spoke up is not punished for it.
6. Lead the culture. How managers set the standard their team follows.
Sessions are live and built around real scenarios from your sector. We deliver at your offices anywhere in the UK, or on Teams.
Line managers, team leaders, supervisors and senior leaders in professional services, tech, housing, charities and contractors.
We are a training consultancy for people, culture and risk. Our past work includes Lloyds Banking Group and the Met Police.
Our sessions are practical. Managers leave knowing exactly what to do on Monday morning.
Our managers already did online training. Why more?
Online modules explain the rules. Live training lets managers practise the hard conversations, which is where most of them get stuck.
Can you train senior leaders and boards too?
Yes. We run board briefings so leaders understand the duty and the risk they now carry.
Is this legal advice?
No. We are not a law firm. We train your managers and help you build a culture where harassment is prevented, not just handled.
Book a free 20 minute call. We will tell you plainly how ready your managers are and what to do first.
